Hi there,
I’m Megan – a twenty-something University of Florida alumni with a passion for the ocean and minor obsession with plants. I’m a Corporate Communications & Human Resources Coordinator by day and a creative soul by night. When I’m not working, you can find me painting, volunteering, and singing worship harmonies.
I moved to Bradenton in 2018 for my first post-grad job. I quickly found that many 941 residents I met take trips to other cities – St. Pete, Tampa, etc. – for fun experiences. When trying to google recommendations for trendy shops, great food, or local hidden treasures, Bradenton was lacking in resources.
The inspiration of the 411 on the 941 was born with a desire to create an opportunity for local people to learn about the hidden gems of Bradenton. Whether you’re a lifer or a new resident of Bradenton, I’m glad you stopped by. Let’s experience this beautiful area together!

I am a 26 year young, candle loving, Jesus worshiping, creative entrepreneur and proud dog mom. I am a chronic illness warrior by the grace of Jesus and my heart beats to worship Him.
My rescue fur-baby, Duncan, will make quite a few appearances on the blog, so he might need an introduction as well! He is a sweet and loving 7 year old poodle-mix who will steal your heart in seconds. He loves his tennis ball, any blanket, and giving kisses!
When Megan first told me about her vision of “The 411 On The 941,” I secretly wanted to invite myself into her plans {but, I just met her, so that would be weird, right? Haha}.
As our friendship grew, so did the vision, and here we are six months later, finally ready to be your insider’s guide to all things local. Whether you’re visiting for a short time or you’re a resident of the 941, we hope to curate an experience that will provide you memories to last a lifetime!
